Weekly News - Episode 6

Mathias Odgaard

The sixth weekly news is here, which we hope that you all enjoy so far. Just keep in mind, that all feedback is allowed to help us do this even better.
- And yes, we skipped last week, doing to some minor problems in our software for the post.

With a skip in the weekly news, we have alot to talk about this time.

This weekly news episode includes topics, such as:

  • Sixth series in LCD Autumn Split
  • Power League Season 11 round 3
  • Esport Tour 2019 in Herning Centret
  • Esport Tour 2019 (Will be continuing doing the events)

Sixth series in LCD Autumn Split

On top of our week 5 performance vs Bucks Vipers. We knew we had to fix a few things. So we looked hard and long at ourselves and figured out where to start. Even though its an ongoing effort, we managed to show a little of it vs Traine Esport.

Game 1 started of strong with a solid late invade on the opponents red buff which secured us a kill and the buff. The pressure from the invade was utilize well by Julbu who manages to single our Jarvan and one up him for another kill. Along with all the pressure jungle our laners manages to outdo their opposition and gain steady growing leads all over the board. Great dives with Sylas brings us to an early 4k gold lead. All through out midgame Julbu manages to be everywhere on the map creating countless skirmish advantages. All though we keep building our gold lead steady, we got to go to the 19th minute before we really use this, a big 5 for 0 teamfight breaks out, at this point cementing that the game was most likely ending soon. We go for the baron and play it out smart and choke out Traine for a 23 minute win.

Game 2 was a little rougher in the beginning as Traine's botlane managed to get some good trades of. However a strongly performing Julbu quickly turn it back in our favour alongside Fred and Lynge. An explosive early game nets us a 4k gold lead by the 14th minute, making Fred look like he is the Adc with 4 kills. It seems like we have Traine down for the count through out the mid game where a lot of baiting and skirmishing continues slowly building a bigger and bigger lead, also making it a competition between Julbu and Fred to see who can get the most kills and assists this game. Just like game 1 we find ourselves a massive teamfight around the 19th minute which leads to baron prior and a last push to end the game.

This weeks MVP was though really solid performances from multiple people on the team. Fred and Julbu stood out from the rest but we can only announce one. Julbu is this weeks MVP, a man looking to prove something, and so he did!

This is what the coaches say:

After last week both me, assistant coach Mathias and the players wanted to proof that we do not take our series in this league for granted. We have been working very hard over the last week with mentality consolidation, to make sure we are playing to our full extend when we play, and challenging ourselves (not our teammates) when we practice.
We spent more time before the game than usually, and came in with a great mindset. I am happy to see us working together more over this series, with the newly reinforced moral as a tool to keep our tempo. We needed this victory to secure the second place in the league, and next week against Hillerød we will need another 2-0 to make sure we take over the second place, that is our goal, and we are in a good momentum going into the last week of the regular split.

Our next match in the League Championship Denmark will be against Hillerød Esport, Tuesday the 17th of September at 19:00 CEST

Power League Season 11 round 3

The third round of the league came around right after our event in Herning, this weekend. And the team didn't have their fifth player in place, which ment that they had to come up with an standin.
- The standin ended up being BieberBanned, which has been helping out the team previously.
We faced ImmuNe in, that haven't got the best start of the league yet, so we had to beat'em while we had the chance. The map ended up being Train, which isn't our best map, but despite that, we came out with a really strong T sided with a 10-5 score.
Going to the CT side, we had a few rounds lost, but they didn't get to close. And we ending out the game winning 16-8 in our Favor.

Follow the standings below:

Our next matches in the Power League Season 11 will be against Ancora Esport, Monday the 16th of September at 18:00 CEST.

Esport Tour 2019 in Herning Centret

(The following part will all be in Danish, since the tour is mainly focusing our danish visitors).
